1. How can I register on Saptpadi.in?

All you need to do is, fill out the required information in the Registration Form as accurately as possible and click on the ‘Register Now’ button.

2. What are the benefits of registering on Saptpadi.in?

3. The form seems to be a bit lengthy. Do I need to fill it entirely?

We understand that it may become tedious for you to fill in a long form in one go. However, matrimonial decisions are important and hence one should convey detailed information about oneself to interested members. The more information you provide about yourself, the more likely you are to be contacted by other members of Saptpadi.in. So please do take time and effort to complete your profile on Saptpadi.in.

4. While registering and creating profile, can I avoid providing information in the mandatory fields?

No. All the mandatory fields have to be filled in order to complete the registration and matrimonial profile creation process. These mandatory fields provide essential information about you to other members who view your profile.

5. What is Quick Search?

Quick Search enables search of profiles through gender, domain, caste, age, and profiles with photo.

6. What is Advanced Search?

This is a detailed search and will give you better results. Options on mother tongue, physical status, location, horoscope and lifestyle besides age, height, marital status, regional sites, religion, caste/division, subcaste, citizenship, country living in, education and 'show results posted on' will be displayed. You can save up to three saved searches that will be displayed on the right-hand corner. 

7. What is Keyword Search?

This search will get results based on keywords found in the profile description. Example: Software Engineer, Loves Pet, Cricket…

8. What is ID Search?

Enter the Matrimony ID of the member whose profile you would like to see. Click on Search Now.

9. How do I view a particular Profile?

You can search and view a particular profile by entering the Member ID in ‘ID Search’ option. 

10.  How do I create a complete Profile?

A quick careful glance of the following topics will help you to include photos, horoscope, references etc. to make your profile complete.

11.  What are the Do’s while creating a Profile?

Here are the Do’s while creating your profile to give other members the best portrayal of yourself.

Do’s

While creating your matrimonial profile, give brief information about yourself in the profile description part. Try your best to touch upon various aspects of life like:

• Your personality, likes, dislikes.

• Your educational and professional background including your achievements.

• Your family (No of members, family values – conservative/modern)

• Your career plans.

• Your expectations from your soulmate.

• Add recent photographs to improve chances of getting proposals.

12.  What are the Don’ts while creating a Profile?

Here are the Don’ts while creating your profile to give other members the best portrayal of yourself.

Don’ts

• Please do not give a lengthy description. Try to keep your description short and complete and do not get into minutest details.

• Do not include content that is vulgar or racist.

         Not confirming to any of the above may lead to your profile being rejected.

13.  I forgot my Matrimony ID/Password. What should I do?

You can retrieve your Matrimony ID/Password by clicking on Forgot Password link on home page and enter your Email-Id. We will send you an Email with your ‘Matrimony ID’ and ‘Password’ immediately. Your Email-Id should be the one given in your profile.
